Job Summary
To support a growing First Party Insurance Practice Group, the full-time Texas Licensed Associate Attorney will manage an active litigation docket, handling cases from inception through resolution while collaborating with experienced partners and maintaining strong client relationships remotely from anywhere in Texas.
Key responsibilities
- Take primary responsibility for first-party litigation cases, including bad faith lawsuits and coverage disputes
- Develop and execute litigation strategies in partnership with national insurance carriers
- Build strong client relationships through effective communication and responsiveness
Required qualifications
- Active license to practice law in Texas
- 5+ years of experience in first-party insurance litigation, preferably in property coverages
- Extensive experience with drafting pleadings, motions, and written discovery
- Proven ability to manage all aspects of litigation, including depositions and settlement discussions
- Strong organizational skills and a proactive mindset for case management
