Texas Licensed Associate Director Actuary

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Director & Actuary.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage planning and forecasting processes for Bermuda captive, including modeling economic balance sheets and local statutory financial statements
• Produce standardized analytical packages for leadership, communicating financial performance under US GAAP and local statutory lenses
• Model financial impacts for strategic transactions and communicate results to senior leadership to assist in decision-making

Required Qualifications

• Preferred qualifications include ASA or FSA certification, or CPA/CFA credentials with a finance background in the insurance sector
• A bachelor's degree in a quantitative field is preferred
• 5+ years of financial planning/forecasting experience in the insurance industry is required
• Broad knowledge of U.S. GAAP, US statutory, Bermuda statutory, accounting, and capital rules
• Experience in a large, complex, and dynamic organization is preferred
