Job Summary

Texas Licensed Associate Legal Officer, this full-time remote position provides legal and regulatory counsel on healthcare billing and reimbursement compliance, while supporting strategic leadership initiatives within the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the strategic leadership of the Billing & Reimbursement Compliance Program, including mentoring staff and conducting educational sessions
  • Provide legal counsel related to healthcare regulations, including Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, and Medicare requirements
  • Serve as a compliance liaison, developing relationships with executive staff and collaborating on billing compliance processes
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) required
  • 2 years of legal experience in a law firm or healthcare organization
  • Licensed to practice law in Texas (within 1 year)
  • Preferred: 4 years of legal experience involving business transactions or healthcare
