Job Summary

A company is looking for an experienced Attorney/Lawyer to support litigation matters in Texas as part of a long-term contract opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle civil litigation matters from initial case assessment through resolution, ensuring deadlines and procedural requirements are met
• Prepare, review, and refine motions, briefs, pleadings, and other legal filings
• Lead discovery activities by drafting requests and responses, evaluating produced materials, and identifying key case evidence

Required Qualifications

• Active attorney license in good standing with a recognized Bar Association
• Demonstrated experience handling civil litigation matters
• Strong ability to draft motions, briefs, and other persuasive legal documents
• Practical knowledge of discovery processes, including document review
• Background in employment law, with familiarity addressing FLSA-related issues
