Job Summary

A company is looking for a Behavior Specialist to support students receiving Special Education services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) for students
  • Train and support teachers in effective behavior management strategies
  • Collaborate with staff and families to ensure compliance with IDEA and district procedures
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred in a related field
  • Experience working with students with disabilities
  • Experience developing and implementing Behavior Intervention Plans
  • Knowledge of IDEA and IEP processes
  • Experience working within MTSS frameworks preferred
