Job Summary
A company is looking for a Behavior Specialist to support students receiving Special Education services.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) for students
- Train and support teachers in effective behavior management strategies
- Collaborate with staff and families to ensure compliance with IDEA and district procedures
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred in a related field
- Experience working with students with disabilities
- Experience developing and implementing Behavior Intervention Plans
- Knowledge of IDEA and IEP processes
- Experience working within MTSS frameworks preferred
