Job Summary

A company is looking for a Behavioral Medical Director, Population Health.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the Utilization Management Program and perform peer reviews
• Ensure delivery of cost-effective quality care with a focus on recovery and person-centered services
• Provide clinical oversight and manage services across all levels of care in the benefit plan

Required Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy
• Current unrestricted medical license in Texas or willingness to obtain
• Board certified in Psychiatry
• Understanding of engagement, empowerment, rehabilitation, and recovery principles
• Knowledge of post-acute care planning and management
