Texas Licensed Billing Specialist

Job Summary

To support a growing pain management practice, the full-time Texas Licensed Billing Specialist will manage patient accounts, oversee accounts receivable follow-up, and provide customer service relations remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a payor portfolio, including patient statements and outstanding payments
• Conduct follow-up on outstanding patient balances and review accounts for collections
• Assist patients with billing inquiries and serve as a resource for front desk personnel

Required qualifications

• High school diploma
• Minimum of four years' work experience in a medical business office setting
• At least one year of experience in medical billing
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Coding certification preferred
