Job Summary

A company is looking for a Billing Specialist responsible for preparing and submitting claims to various insurance carriers.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit clean claims to third party insurance carriers, Medicare, and Medicaid
• Process denied claims by correcting billing errors and resubmitting to insurance carriers
• Maintain patient financial records and assist in billing adjustments and eligibility checks

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalency
• One to two years of relevant experience
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook
• Ability to accurately enter data and prioritize work to meet deadlines
• Positive attitude and excellent organizational skills
