Texas Licensed Billing Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Billing Specialist II to perform intermediate level billing responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform charge reconciliation and ensure all charges are accounted for
• Analyze and resolve coding edits for various services and procedures
• Assist in obtaining insurance authorizations and maintain accurate records

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of medical billing or collections experience
• Coding certifications (CPC, CPMA, CMC, ART, RRA, RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CCA) preferred
• Knowledge of carrier regulations and billing practices
• Ability to work in a remote setting within the state of Texas
