Job Summary

To enhance patient care and academic excellence, the full-time Texas Licensed Breast Medical Oncologist will provide exemplary clinical services, engage in research activities, and contribute to the education of trainees in a hybrid onsite/remote work environment.

Key responsibilities
  • Practice clinical medicine, including thorough patient examinations and invasive procedures, while maintaining documentation and coding standards
  • Engage in clinical and translational research, identifying funding sources and developing research programs aligned with departmental goals
  • Provide educational support by supervising trainees, participating in teaching conferences, and serving as a role model for faculty and students
Required qualifications
  • Medical degree with specialization in Breast Medical Oncology
  • Current Texas medical license
  • Experience in clinical practice and patient care in oncology
  • Demonstrated ability to engage in research and secure funding
  • Experience in teaching or supervising medical trainees
