Job Summary

A company is looking for a Category Manager, Health System.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage clinical and research laboratory spend categories, focusing on cost reduction and contract optimization
  • Lead the sourcing, RFP, proposal, and contracting processes while maintaining contract integrity
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to drive strategic initiatives and manage supplier relationships
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in science, healthcare, or a business-related field
  • 3 years of experience in contract administration, purchasing, or sourcing with a Bachelor's Degree, or 1 year with a Master's Degree
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Must obtain relevant certifications (Certified Texas Purchasing Manager or Certified Texas Contract Developer) within 1.5 years
  • Healthcare-related experience is strongly preferred
