Job Summary

A company is looking for a Category Manager, Supply Chain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage clinical and research laboratory spend categories, focusing on cost reduction and contract optimization
  • Lead the Sourcing/RFP/Proposal/Contracting process and maintain the integrity of Category contracts
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to drive strategic initiatives and supplier performance metrics


Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in science, healthcare, or business-related field
  • 3 years of experience in contract administration, purchasing, or sourcing with a Bachelor's Degree or 1 year with a Master's Degree
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Must obtain Certified Texas Purchasing Manager or Certified Texas Contract Developer certification within 1.5 years
  • Healthcare-related experience is strongly preferred
