Job Summary

A company is looking for a Certified Professional Coder Representative.

Key Responsibilities
  • Audit charts to ensure accurate ICD-10 CM and CPT code assignment and documentation integrity
  • Review medical records and verify documentation to support diagnostic and procedural codes
  • Monitor coding-related trends and issues, making recommendations for process improvements


Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred
  • CPC certification from the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical coding, preferably in an outpatient setting
  • Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems and guidelines
  • Proficient in Google Sheets and electronic medical record (EMR) systems
