Chaplain

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Chaplain to provide spiritual counseling and support to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs for spiritual support and document outcomes in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
• Respond to urgent requests such as code blues and end-of-life situations, while maintaining communication with the healthcare team
• Facilitate spiritual and ethical discussions, assist with family conflicts, and provide resources for patients and staff

Required Qualifications and Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Divinity, Philosophy, or Counseling from an accredited institution
• Four units of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) from an accredited center
• Master's Degree in Divinity is preferred
• One year of chaplaincy experience is preferred
