Texas Licensed Civil Engineer Reviewer

Job Summary

Seeking a Texas Licensed Civil Engineer Reviewer, the remote position will manage engineering plan reviews for land development projects, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal requirements while serving as a liaison between city staff and applicants.

Key responsibilities

• Review plans for water, sewer, stormwater management, erosion control, and roadway design projects
• Function as a liaison between city staff, applicants, and technical groups, making presentations to clients and city councils
• Conduct peer reviews of land development projects and provide technical guidance as needed

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience in civil engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) registered in Texas or Florida
• Preferred Certification: Certified Flood Plain Manager (CFM)
• Experience with electronic plan review software and civil engineering design tools such as AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering reports and plans, and manage project communications effectively
