Texas Licensed Claims Adjuster

Job Summary

Supporting the SPG Cargo & Logistics Claims & Recoveries Department, the full-time remote Transportation & Logistics Claims Specialist / Developing Adjuster will assist in handling, investigating, and resolving various transportation and logistics claims while working towards obtaining a Texas Licensed Claims Adjuster certification.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the handling and development of Transportation & Logistics claims, including broker and carrier liability, cargo loss, and service-related claims
• Gather, review, and organize key claim materials and support initial investigations by identifying involved parties and potential liability issues
• Prepare claim summaries and assist with reserve recommendations, settlement evaluations, and claim strategy under the supervision of a licensed adjuster

Required Qualifications

• Must obtain a Texas adjuster license within six months of hire
• 5-7 years of relevant experience in transportation, logistics, or freight claims
• Strong background in carrier compliance, risk management, and brokerage operations preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to communicate professionally with various stakeholders
