Job Summary
Managing workers' compensation claims from injury reporting through closure, the full-time Texas Licensed Claims Specialist will coordinate with clients, injured employees, and insurance carriers while providing exceptional customer service in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinates and manages workers' compensation claims from initial reporting to resolution
- Acts as the primary liaison among clients, injured employees, insurance carriers, and other stakeholders
- Educates clients and injured employees on claims processes, return-to-work programs, and available resources
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Risk Management and Insurance, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of four years of experience in claims management or a related field required
- Working knowledge of workers' compensation claims processes and return-to-work programs
- Bilingual (Spanish) language ability is required
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
