Job Summary

A company is looking for a Clearance Specialist - Intake Coordinator to support its Specialty Infusion Pharmacy remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform benefit verification of patient insurance plans and document coverage details
• Calculate estimated patient financial responsibility based on benefit verification and payer contracts
• Initiate and secure prior authorizations while communicating with patients and referral sources

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience in home infusion specialty pharmacy
• Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care reimbursement guidelines
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
• Basic skills in Microsoft Excel and Word; knowledge of CPR+ preferred
