Texas Licensed Clinical Coding Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Clinical Coding Analyst (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily pre-bill chart reviews and communicate findings to clients within 24 hours
• Review electronic health records for revenue opportunities and coding compliance issues
• Prepare and submit recommendations regarding reimbursement and coding queries to clients

Required Qualifications

• AHIMA credential of CCS, CDIP, or ACDIS credential of CCDS is required
• Graduate of an accredited Health Information Technology or Administration program preferred
• Minimum of 7 years of acute inpatient hospital coding, auditing, or CDI experience required
• Extensive knowledge of ICD-10 CM/PCS and experience with electronic health records required
• Experience working remotely is required
