Job Summary
Seeking a Texas Licensed Clinical Coding Auditor, the full-time remote position will focus on auditing medical records, managing coding resources, and ensuring compliance with coding regulations while offering a flexible schedule and excellent work/life balance.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct medical records auditing according to the audit scope and focus
- Manage data capture and reporting related to coding practices
- Oversee fiscal management of coding resources and processes
Required qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Health Information or related field, or high school diploma with 5 years of relevant experience
- 5 years of acute care inpatient or CPT surgical level coding experience
- RHIA, RHIT, CCS, or COC certification required
- Proficiency in ICD 10-CM, PCS, and CPT coding conventions
- Experience with coding audits preferred
