Texas Licensed Clinical Coding Supervisor

Job Summary

To enhance revenue opportunities and ensure compliance, the full-time Texas Licensed Clinical Coding Supervisor will provide leadership and operational oversight for the Revenue Operations and Coding department, working remotely with occasional onsite meetings.

Key responsibilities

• Implement departmental policies and manage Kronos Dimensions to support institutional goals
• Monitor unbilled accounts and productivity while developing staff through guidance and performance evaluations
• Stay current on coding standards and methodologies, applying knowledge to improve compliance and operational efficiency

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
• Five years of coding experience in a physician and/or academic healthcare organization, including three years in a lead/supervisory role
• Active professional coding certification such as RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC, or similar
• Strong background in outpatient coding, regulatory compliance, and audit processes
• Experience with surgery coding and managing large teams is preferred
