Job Summary
To enhance revenue opportunities and ensure compliance, the full-time Texas Licensed Clinical Coding Supervisor will provide leadership and operational oversight for the Revenue Operations and Coding department, working remotely with occasional onsite meetings.
Key responsibilities
- Implement departmental policies and manage Kronos Dimensions to support institutional goals
- Monitor unbilled accounts and productivity while developing staff through guidance and performance evaluations
- Stay current on coding standards and methodologies, applying knowledge to improve compliance and operational efficiency
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
- Five years of coding experience in a physician and/or academic healthcare organization, including three years in a lead/supervisory role
- Active professional coding certification such as RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC, or similar
- Strong background in outpatient coding, regulatory compliance, and audit processes
- Experience with surgery coding and managing large teams is preferred
