Job Summary

A company is looking for a Clinical Document Integrity Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitates clinical documentation reviews to ensure accurate reflection of services and acuity of care
  • Communicates with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure complete documentation of diagnoses, procedures, and treatments
  • Initiates provider queries and performs follow-ups to ensure documentation clarity prior to patient discharge
Required Qualifications
  • 3 years of acute care hospital nursing experience, preferably in critical care, or 5 years nursing experience in an acute care hospital with 3 years in critical care
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Certification in Clinical Documentation (CCDS or CDIP) obtained upon hire or within 6 months of eligibility
  • Experience working in a remote environment is preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree in nursing (BSN) is preferred
