Job Summary

A company is looking for a Clinical Document Integrity Specialist - RN.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitates clinical documentation reviews to ensure accurate reflection of services and acuity in medical records
  • Communicates with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure complete documentation of diagnoses, procedures, and treatments
  • Initiates provider queries for documentation clarification and performs follow-ups to ensure accuracy prior to discharge
Required Qualifications
  • 3 years of acute care hospital nursing experience, preferably in critical care, or 5 years nursing experience with 3 years in critical care
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license required
  • Certification in Clinical Documentation (CCDS or CDIP) required within 6 months of hire
  • Experience in a remote work environment is preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree in nursing (BSN) is preferred
