Texas Licensed Clinical Informatics Educator

Job Summary

Transforming complex EHRs into engaging learning experiences, the full-time Texas Licensed Clinical Informatics Educator will design and deliver innovative training programs for clinicians and teams, ensuring user confidence and system adoption in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement curriculum rooted in adult learning principles and real-world workflows
• Deliver dynamic virtual classes, self-paced eLearning, and multimedia content to support user training
• Collaborate with clinical informatics partners and stakeholders to enhance system adoption and continuous improvement

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Education, Instructional Design, Informatics, or a related field
• Epic certification in one or more modules within 6 months of hire
• 2 years of experience in designing and delivering education and training materials
• 2 years of experience working with clinical information systems in a healthcare setting
• If applicable, an active license as a Registered Nurse or other clinical certification
