Job Summary
To support the delivery of high-quality breast cancer care, the full-time Texas Licensed Clinical Nurse will provide, coordinate, and support evidence-based direct patient care in an outpatient setting, working Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and organize the patient care team to ensure continuity of care and effective discharge planning
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to assess patient needs and develop care plans
- Participate in evidence-based practice projects to integrate research findings into daily care practices
Required qualifications
- Current State of Texas Professional Nursing license (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing
- Preferred: Two years of clinical nurse experience, preferably in an oncology outpatient setting
- Preferred: OCN - Oncology Nurse Certification or CBCN - Certified Breast Care Nurse
