Job Summary

A company is looking for a Clinical Pharmacist - Medicaid Prior Authorization.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Medicaid prior authorization processes and clinical decision-making
• Work in a high production remote team environment, adhering to evidence-based clinical guidelines
• Review medical records and clinical literature to ensure compliance with formulary designs and prescription benefit trends

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted TX and/or AZ pharmacist license
• 3+ years of experience as a pharmacist or completion of PGY1 managed care residency
• Experience with clinical decision-making and prior authorization processes
• Demonstrated understanding of clinical program components and formulary designs
• Ability to obtain a secondary pharmacist license (AZ or TX) within 90 days of hire
