Job Summary
Seeking a Texas Licensed Clinical Pharmacist to work remotely in a full-time capacity, responsible for providing educational and consultant services in pharmacology, managing drug therapy for patients, and participating in process improvement activities.
Key responsibilities
- Interpret and fill drug orders accurately while ensuring compliance with medication appropriateness and safety
- Conduct drug utilization reviews and provide drug information to medical staff and patients
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and participate in the development of clinical initiatives and performance improvement programs
Required qualifications
- BS or Pharm. D. from an accredited school of pharmacy
- Current unrestricted Texas pharmacist license
- Residency or 2 years post-graduate practice experience in a similar role preferred
- Demonstrated leadership and team-building abilities
- Ability to communicate effectively with professional staff and the general public
