Job Summary
Supporting Medicare Part D members and providers, the remote Clinical Pharmacist Advisor will review pharmacy benefit requests, evaluate clinical documentation, and ensure compliance with Medicare guidelines in a contract role lasting 48 weeks.
Key Responsibilities
- Review Medicare Part D appeals and pharmacy benefit requests for accuracy and completeness
- Contact healthcare providers to obtain additional clinical information when needed
- Document all case activity clearly and in compliance with CMS and internal guidelines
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
- Active pharmacist license in good standing in the state of residence
- Verifiable High School Diploma or GED
- Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while meeting productivity and quality expectations
