Job Summary
To support Pharmacy Quality Initiatives, the part-time Texas Licensed Clinical Pharmacist will perform clinical pharmacy services, conduct medication reconciliations, and collaborate with healthcare providers while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct clinical pharmacy services through Pharmacy Quality Initiative Programs, including medication reviews and patient counseling
- Answer inbound and conduct outbound calls regarding coverage determinations, ensuring accurate data entry and communication with physicians
- Assist in the development and enhancement of clinical pharmacy programs and provide training and oversight to program staff and interns
Required qualifications:
- Pharm D. degree
- Current and active Pharmacy License and Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP) Registered Pharmacist
- No prior experience required as this is an entry-level role
- Customer service experience
- Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access
