Job Summary
Supporting Medicare Part D members and providers, the remote Clinical Pharmacist Advisor will review pharmacy benefit requests, ensure accurate case processing, and make clinically appropriate decisions in accordance with Medicare guidelines on a contract basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Review Medicare Part D appeals and pharmacy benefit requests for accuracy and completeness
- Evaluate clinical documentation and internal case notes to support appropriate case decisions
- Contact healthcare providers to obtain additional clinical information when needed
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
- Active pharmacist license in good standing in the state of residence
- Verifiable High School Diploma or GED
- Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while meeting productivity and quality expectations
