Job Summary
To manage cancer data collection and compliance, the full-time Texas Licensed Clinical Registrar will compile and maintain demographic and clinical data for cancer cases treated at Providence facilities, working remotely while ensuring adherence to American College of Surgeons standards.
Key responsibilities
- Collect and maintain demographic, clinical, and follow-up data on cancer cases
- Extract data from various sources, including EPIC and Mosaic, for state and local reporting
- Prepare submissions for state and NCDB compliance and local analysis
Required qualifications
- Associate's Degree or equivalent education/experience
- Two years of cancer registry experience in lieu of an Associate's degree
- Oncology Data Specialist certification from the National Cancer Registrars Association upon hire
- Minimum of two years of cancer registry experience
