Texas Licensed Cloud Data Architect

Job Summary

To drive innovative data solutions, the remote Principal Cloud Data Architect (Microsoft Fabric and Azure) will design, develop, and implement scalable data architectures while collaborating with cross-functional teams and mentoring data professionals.

Key responsibilities:

• Define and deliver high-level cloud data architecture to support enterprise-wide analytics and AI solutions
• Lead the design and integration of data from source applications, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices
• Manage project execution, develop work plans, and communicate progress to stakeholders while adhering to agile methodologies

Required qualifications:

• At least 10 years of hands-on experience in data architecture, data management, and BI, with a focus on data warehousing and ELT technologies
• A four-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required; advanced degree preferred
• Data architecture certification (e.g., Microsoft Azure Data Architect, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) required within 180 days of hire
• Experience with emerging technologies such as data mesh and GenAI data stack is preferred
• Proven ability to mentor and guide teams in best practices for cloud data architecture and AI product development
