Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coding Specialist III - Inpatient.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and code inpatient and outpatient medical records according to coding guidelines
• Mentor and proctor lower-level coding staff as needed
• Maintain quality and productivity standards in coding practices

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• 3 to 5 years of acute hospital-based coding experience
• Experience working in a remote environment
• Licensure or certification in RHIA, RHIT, or CCS upon hire
• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Health Information Management or a related field preferred
• Expert knowledge of coding guidelines and practices
