Job Summary
Providing strategic leadership for compliance functions, the full-time Texas Licensed Compliance VP will develop and execute a comprehensive compliance strategy, chair the Compliance Committee, and ensure adherence to federal and state regulations while primarily working remotely with some travel required.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement an enterprise-wide compliance program aligned with regulatory requirements and best practices
- Oversee regulatory compliance, including risk assessments and corrective action plans in response to audits and examinations
- Manage the organization's ethics program and compliance training strategy across all business units
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 8-15+ years of progressive compliance experience in the health insurance or managed care industry
- 3+ years in a senior leadership role
- Knowledge of federal and state health insurance regulatory frameworks, including ACA and ERISA
- Proven ability to develop and execute strategic compliance programs in a multi-state environment
- Preferred: Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) or equivalent certification
