Texas Licensed Consult-Liaison PMHNP

Job Summary

To support emergency department and inpatient teams, the full-time Texas Licensed Consult-Liaison PMHNP will conduct high-quality psychiatric evaluations and consultations remotely, requiring 13-16 shifts per month, including 3-4 weekend shifts.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide psychiatric evaluations and consultations for patients of all ages in emergency and inpatient settings
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver effective mental health care
• Utilize advanced tools and systems to streamline workflows and optimize patient care

Required qualifications:

• Active PMHNP license in Texas preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of consult-liaison clinical experience in IP/ER/ED settings
• Experience treating patients ages 5 and older
• PMHNP ANCC Board Certification required
• Ability to work with multiple health systems and varying acuity levels
