Texas Licensed Consult-Liaison PMHNP

Job Summary

To support emergency department and inpatient teams, the full-time Texas Licensed Consult-Liaison PMHNP will provide high-quality psychiatric evaluations and consultations remotely, requiring 13-16 shifts per month with 3-4 weekend shifts.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and consultations for patients of all ages in emergency and inpatient settings
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance mental health care delivery
• Utilize advanced tools and systems to streamline workflows and improve patient care

Required qualifications:

• Active PMHNP license in Texas preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of consult-liaison clinical experience in inpatient or emergency settings
• Experience treating patients ages 5 and older in emergency department settings
• PMHNP ANCC Board Certification
• Ability to work with various health systems and varying acuity levels
