Texas Licensed Consulting Psychiatrist
Job Summary
To launch Allara's Psychiatry Service Line, a Texas Licensed Consulting Psychiatrist will work remotely on a contract basis, developing clinical protocols and safety standards while treating patients with mild to moderate depression, anxiety, and PMDD.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop clinical protocols for psychiatric treatment and build hiring standards for PMHNP candidates
- Allocate time to treat patients and provide supervision and case consultations post-launch
- Collaborate with clinical and operations leadership to design safety and escalation protocols
Required Qualifications
- Active board certification in Psychiatry through ABPN or AOBNP
- An active, unrestricted medical license in Texas or other specified states
- A minimum of 5 years of post-residency clinical experience in outpatient care
- Experience treating women's mental health conditions, including depression and anxiety
- Proven ability in supervising or collaborating with psychiatric nurse practitioners
