Job Summary
To enhance provider partnerships, the full-time Texas Licensed Contract Negotiator will lead complex negotiations, manage vendor relationships, and drive financial and operational success in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Negotiate and manage vendor or provider contracts, ensuring successful implementations and ongoing relationships
- Perform market research and financial analyses to support contract negotiations and operational reporting
- Lead meetings with health plans and corporate teams to review performance data and develop partnership strategies
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of experience in vendor and/or provider contract negotiations within the healthcare industry
- Proven track record of successful contract negotiations resulting in measurable financial outcomes
- Experience presenting negotiation strategies and results to senior management
- Preferred experience with healthcare provider negotiations for pharmacy benefit management or managed care
