Texas Licensed Contract Psychiatrist

Job Summary

To support an innovative behavioral health service line, the part-time Texas Licensed Contract Psychiatrist will perform telehealth initiating visits, assess high-risk behavioral health conditions, and supervise peer support services in a remote, contract role.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform telehealth initiating visits for eligible members
• Assess and document serious high-risk behavioral health or substance use conditions
• Supervise peer support and care navigation services delivered by team members

Required Qualifications

• MD or DO with board certification or board eligibility in Psychiatry
• Active, unrestricted medical license in at least one of the following states: TX, NC, FL, or TN
• Experience treating substance use disorders or serious mental illness
• Ability to provide telehealth services in licensed states
• Commitment to ethical, compliant, patient-centered care
