Job Summary
Texas Licensed Contracts Attorney is sought for a full-time contract position to draft and negotiate contracts, manage legal risks, and support project teams in a fast-paced engineering and construction environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end negotiation of contracts including MSAs, subcontractor agreements, and vendor contracts
- Identify and mitigate legal and commercial risks through contract structuring and compliance with regulations
- Advise project teams during bid and execution phases, including contract interpretation and dispute avoidance strategies
Required Qualifications
- JD + Active U.S. Bar License (TX, CA, or MN preferred)
- 5+ years of legal experience focused on construction, engineering, or design industries
- Experience with design-build delivery models and large-scale infrastructure projects
- Familiarity with AIA and/or EJCDC contract forms
- Strong background in commercial contracting including MSAs and project agreements
