Job Summary

A company is looking for a Corporate Counsel, Claims Litigation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage litigation involving the company's insurance operations, focusing on first-party property claims
  • Provide strategic legal advice to claims leadership and manage outside counsel
  • Monitor litigation trends and advise on legal risks and emerging regulations


Required Qualifications
  • J.D. from an accredited law school and active Texas Bar license in good standing
  • 8+ years of litigation experience in law firms, government, or in-house roles
  • Experience handling bad faith or extra-contractual litigation against insurance companies
  • 1st or 2nd chair trial and/or appellate experience
  • Strong understanding of Texas civil procedure
