Job Summary

Leading strategic transactions for a growing company, the full-time remote Texas Licensed Corporate Counsel will provide legal advice on M&A, corporate venture investments, and capital markets while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive corporate development initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the legal lead for all strategic transactions, including M&A and corporate financing
• Advise executives on high-visibility legal matters, aligning legal strategy with corporate growth objectives
• Manage outside counsel budgets and performance, ensuring effective legal representation across complex transactions

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of relevant experience in M&A, venture, and corporate law from a prominent law firm and in-house legal departments
• Active and in good standing with the state bar, or eligible to register as in-house counsel
• Functional knowledge of public company accounting, corporate finance, and tax matters
• Exceptional business acumen and judgment in handling sensitive information
• Strong interest in leveraging AI technologies to enhance productivity
