Job Summary

To ensure compliance with US Customs regulations, the full-time Global Trade Import Specialist will manage import compliance procedures, maintain visibility of imported products, and train employees on proper protocols while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update import compliance procedures, ensuring adherence to US Customs guidelines
• Assist in developing processes and procedures, and fill in for the Global Trade Compliance Manager as needed
• Audit import transactions and maintain accurate records while classifying SKUs with the correct Harmonized Tariff Schedule

Required qualifications

• U.S. Customs Brokers License required
• 3+ years of experience in an import-related environment
• 3+ years of experience in tracking and tracing import shipments using carrier tracking systems
• High school diploma or GED equivalent; college degree preferred
• Solid knowledge of the USCBP Harmonized Tariff System
