Job Summary

A company is looking for a STS Cyber Defense Security Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify challenges in customer Cyber Defense Centers and implement strategies for improvement
• Create and modify EDR and SIEM use cases and detection logic using cyber threat intelligence
• Provide expertise for EDR, SIEM, and other SOC technologies to assist in incident response

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cyber-security, or a related field
• 3 years of experience in Detection Engineering or a related role
• Experience with detection tuning and creation using security tools such as SIEM, EDR, or NDR
• Knowledge of scripting languages like PowerShell and Python
• Understanding of cyber defense operations, including incident response and security architecture
