Job Summary
Supporting the Cybersecurity department within the Security Operations Center, the full-time Texas Licensed Cybersecurity Analyst will monitor network traffic, perform alert triage, and respond to security incidents while working remotely within Texas.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor network traffic and security alerts across SIEM, EDR, and firewall platforms, performing real-time analysis of security telemetry
- Execute first-response containment actions and create detailed incident tickets for escalated incidents
- Participate in threat hunting and analysis to detect emerging threats and improve detection strategies
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Business Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
- 2 years of experience in information security domains, including managing security technologies and developing standards
- Hands-on experience in a Security Operations Center performing alert triage and incident response
- Relevant industry certifications such as GCIH, GCIA, GCFA, CySA+, or Security+ preferred
- Ability to work on an on-call rotation and/or shift coverage as required by 24x7 SOC operations
