Job Summary
To support a growing cybersecurity practice, the full-time Texas Licensed Cybersecurity Assessor will independently lead hands-on assessments across various environments, evaluate technical controls, and produce actionable reports, all while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently plan and lead cybersecurity assessments across enterprise, cloud, and public-sector environments
- Evaluate the design and effectiveness of technical controls and review technical configurations for compliance
- Produce detailed assessment reports with prioritized risk findings and present recommendations to client stakeholders
Required Qualifications
- Experience in cybersecurity with a proven track record of leading or performing security assessments
- Hands-on experience assessing environments against recognized frameworks such as NIST CSF, CIS Controls, or ISO 27001
- Strong knowledge of security controls across operating systems, network infrastructure, and cloud services
- Ability to independently review and assess technical configurations and documentation
- Experience working with clients in a consulting capacity and managing multiple concurrent engagements
