Job Summary

A company is looking for a SVP, Deputy General Counsel, Commercial Contracting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct and develop the North America contracts team, providing strategic direction and oversight
• Oversee the preparation and negotiation of all contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal standards
• Develop and implement policies for contract administration and serve as an escalation point for complex negotiations

Required Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and admission to the state bar
• Minimum of 15 years of leadership experience in an in-house legal department, focusing on multi-million dollar deals
• Extensive knowledge of contract law and the contract life cycle for IT services
• Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing legal teams
• Experience in both in-house and firm environments preferred
