Job Summary
To support the Texas Oncology Gulf Coast region, a part-time Texas Licensed Dosimetrist will generate and evaluate radiation therapy treatment plans using computer software and imaging modalities, collaborating closely with radiation oncologists and medical physicists in a fully remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Generate radiation therapy treatment plans in a timely manner using computer software and various imaging modalities
- Consult and communicate with therapists regarding the implementation of treatment plans and the use of immobilization devices
- Perform or supervise the design and fabrication of immobilization and beam modifying devices as well as treatment planning aids
Required qualifications
- Credentials as a Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD) preferred
- At least two years of experience with Eclipse TPS preferred
- Two years of experience with ARIA preferred
- Proficient in planning VMAT, IMRT, SBRT, and 3D plans
- Experience with RADCAL and RADFORMATION preferred
