Job Summary

Supporting students with dyslexia and related reading differences, the fully remote, full-time Texas Licensed Dyslexia Specialist will deliver structured literacy instruction and individualized support through virtual sessions, ensuring students achieve academic progress while managing their athletic commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver one-on-one and small-group structured literacy instruction using evidence-based methods tailored to individual student needs
• Monitor student progress through assessments and adjust instructional plans accordingly
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student strategies, progress, and ways to reinforce learning at home

Required qualifications

• Direct experience supporting students with dyslexia, demonstrating measurable reading gains
• Training in structured literacy programs such as Orton-Gillingham or Wilson Reading System
• Ability to analyze assessment data and develop clear instructional plans
• Bachelor's degree in education, special education, reading, speech-language pathology, or a related field
• Understanding of the demands of competitive youth athletics
