Texas Licensed Dyslexia Teacher

Job Summary

Providing specialized dyslexia intervention services remotely, the full-time Regional Remote Dyslexia Teacher will support multiple campuses by implementing district-approved programs, collaborating with educational teams, and ensuring compliance with dyslexia-related regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver direct remote dyslexia intervention services to identified students across assigned campuses
• Collaborate with campus staff to support dyslexia services and participate in the ARD/IEP process
• Maintain compliance documentation and communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in Special Education or a related field
• Valid Texas teaching certificate (EC-6 or 4-8 Generalist or applicable content certification)
• Minimum of two years of experience providing dyslexia instruction in a public school setting
• Knowledge of structured literacy and evidence-based dyslexia intervention practices
• Experience in a remote or virtual instructional environment is preferred
